This painting represents a still life scene "Nature Morte au Gibier" painted by Jean-Baptiste Oudry.
The Rococo style original was painted in 1725.
Jean-Baptiste Oudry was a French painter particularly known for his naturalistic images of animals and his still lifes of game.

This work shows an extraordinary pictorial quality and particularly elaborate, presents a hare and pheasants attached to a tree trunk placed next to several peaches on a background of a forest painted with exceptional precision.
