More info

This stunning Louis XV-style baroque bedside table or small chest of drawers immediately stands out thanks to its bold black and white checkerboard design.

Its striking appearance evokes theatrical and luxurious decorative themes while preserving the elegant curved lines characteristic of the Louis XV aesthetic.

The bombe-shaped body, cabriole legs and ornamental details give the piece a refined and impressive presence.

The structure is made of solid beech wood, a material known for its strength and durability.

Every visible surface : top, legs, drawers and body, is fully hand-painted and lacquered to achieve the glossy checkerboard finish.

This artisanal work requires several layers of paint and varnish applied successively to create a smooth, shiny surface.

No visible areas appear to be covered with any additional materials other than paint and varnish.

The back of the furniture is black.

The silvered bronze decorative elements are cast and then hand-chiseled, providing precise and detailed ornamentation.

They are featured on the handles and feet, adding an extra level of sophistication.

The piece offers two spacious drawers, making it not only decorative but also functional in a bedroom or high-end hospitality environment.

Due to its handcrafted production, each piece may show slight variations in finish, making it unique.

Perfect for luxurious, contemporary or eclectic interiors, this remarkable piece will instantly become a visual focal point in any refined setting.
