More info

This superb Dagobert-style bench immediately stands out through its theatrical silhouette and elegant combination of deep blue and gold, giving it a particularly refined and luxurious presence.

Its generous removable cushion is upholstered in a sumptuous blue satin damask fabric decorated with large floral motifs and scrolling foliage. Depending on the light, the pattern catches subtle reflections and reveals the richness of the textile, creating a striking contrast with the gilded wooden frame.

The bench is crafted from solid beech wood, carefully hand-carved by our artisans. Its curved lines, characteristic crossed legs, mouldings and sculpted ornaments are inspired by ceremonial seating while giving the piece an instantly recognisable decorative silhouette. The entire structure is enhanced with hand-applied gold leaf, highlighting the relief of the carvings and reinforcing its precious appearance.

The generously padded cushion provides a soft and comfortable seat. Four matching decorative tiebacks finished with black tassels complete the design, adding another sophisticated detail while strengthening the contrast between the deep blue upholstery, the gold frame and the darker accents.

Placed at the foot of a bed in an elegant bedroom, beside a dressing table, in a dramatic entrance hall or as an occasional seat in a refined living room, this bench immediately becomes a decorative focal point. It is equally suited to a luxury hotel suite, an upscale boutique or an interior combining classical, Baroque or eclectic influences.

More than simply an occasional seat, this Dagobert-style bench is a statement piece designed to bring colour, elegance and a distinctive sense of luxury to the room.
