A magnificent Empire-style center console, this exceptional piece embodies the grandeur and harmony of early 19th-century French design.

Crafted from solid beech wood veneered in rich mahogany, it is topped with an elegant white marble slab veined with grey, creating a striking contrast between warmth and purity.

The frieze is lavishly adorned with gilded bronze ornaments, including double palmettes, laurel wreaths, winged Victories, and floral urns : each symbolizing triumph and immortality.

The four tapered legs are crowned by exquisite winged Caryatids with finely sculpted faces, masterfully cast in gilded bronze.

The curved stretcher joining the legs ensures stability and features a central medallion, while the base rests on gilded lion paw feet, symbols of strength and majesty.

This console is designed to stand either as a centerpiece or against a wall, where its architectural splendor and symmetry can be admired from every angle.
