This very beautiful coral from the oceanic lagoons "Acropora Florida" is presented on a base.
Coral is actually an animal living in colonies of individuals, called "polyps", which are "superorganisms".
Each polyp secretes its own exoskeleton; depending on the species, this exoskeleton is hard or soft.
Our collection of corals in synthetic material is handcrafted, reproducing identically the texture of these living specimens, most of which are now protected.
This base is made of wood with a black satin patina paint.
In the style of the Second French Empire (Napoleon III, Late 19th century) and completely in the "Cabinet de Curiosités" spirit, we offer you a reproduction of protected shells or exotic animals.
Very beautiful decorative and original object.
