This ensemble of three petrified-wood obelisks captures the quiet beauty of a material that is both natural and time-honoured.

Formed when the original wood was gradually replaced by micro-crystalline silica (chalcedony/quartz), petrified wood preserves its growth rings, grain and occasional knots: now fixed in stone and brought to life by a fine polish.

With crisp facets and a clean apex, the obelisks reveal a warm palette of honeys, browns, beiges, smoky greys and charcoal accents that shift from piece to piece.

Each specimen reads like a landscape: layered pages, concentric rhythms, faint echoes of vegetal fibers.

In a cabinet-of-curiosities spirit, the trio establishes a refined vertical cadence on a console or shelf; clustered, they form a compact mineral architecture; spaced out, they punctuate a room with gentle measure.

A light marble or travertine tray sharpens tonal contrast ; ebonized wood adds quiet warmth; under a glass dome, the group acquires a museum-like aura without visual weight.

For a gallery note, add a label card (name, origin) and, if desired, a discreet collection number. Care is straightforward: dust with a dry microfiber cloth; avoid abrasives, acidic cleaners and soaking to preserve the polish.
