Shaped and polished into a sphere, this septarium piece showcases a striking natural graphic: a network of mineralised veins (calcite/aragonite) running across a sedimentary matrix in chocolate and taupe tones.

Formed from fossil marine concretions, septarium is recognised by its polygonal cracks infilled with lighter minerals, a genuine geological mosaic where every angle reads like a chapter in time.

The polish heightens honey, ivory and brown contrasts, with softer satiny passages that calm the eye.

In a refined cabinet-of-curiosities mood, the sphere becomes a quiet focal point, self-sufficient on a console or shelf and naturally conversing with mineral pieces or art objects.

Gentle side lighting is ideal to bring out the vein network without glare.
