More info

Very beautiful reissue of a 19th century style frame with a hollow interior (cabinet) with anamorphosis.
Completely realized in our workshops, one by one by the hand and the old, it perpetuates the tradition of the frames of the time realized in European factories and workshops during the industrial revolution.
Made like his elders on a wooden sole, all decors are molded in paper.

This fabulous frame with anamorphosis called "Portrait of a lady" painted by Jan Adam Kruseman in 1829 is an exceptional artistic piece based on the art of anamorphosis. Here is how this work works and is presented to you:

At first sight, you will be captivated by a colorful and poetic fly of butterflies. This image is the first layer of the work.

However, when you look at this image from a certain angle or across the frame around it, an unexpected and complex image emerges. In reality, butterflies are used to reconstitute a master painting.

Anamorphosis is the key principle here. It intentionally distorts the image of the butterflies so that you can only perceive it properly under certain conditions, thus revealing the underlying image of the master board.

To maintain the effect of trumpet the eye and protect the work, it is placed inside a frame. This ensures that anamorphosis remains a visual secret to discover and does not disperse on your walls.

This work is a captivating fusion of anamorphosis, butterfly art and classical painting. It encourages spectators to explore the work from different angles to discover the many artistic facets that compose it.
Both a fascinating work of art and a creative example of the use of historical artistic techniques in a modern context, this frame is a truly unique piece. She will captivate the imagination of those who contemplate her.

Very beautiful and original decorative accessory, can also be an atypical gift idea!
