Exquisite large cylindrical lantern in Louis XVI style, crafted in gilt bronze, perfect for gracing a grand entrance hall, an elegant staircase, or any high-ceilinged space.

The finely chiselled bronze frame is adorned with delicate bows and ribbons, hallmark motifs of the Louis XVI period (late 18th century).

This refined French neoclassical style drew inspiration from Ancient Greece and Rome, emphasising symmetry, straight lines, and harmonious proportions a departure from the ornate curves of the preceding Rococo.

The curved glass panels are mouth-blown by skilled artisans, giving each pane subtle variations and a luminous brilliance that only traditional craftsmanship can achieve.

Light is provided by four sockets concealed beneath faux wax candles, designed for 60-watt maximum E14 screw bulbs.

The lantern is sold as shown, without chain or bulbs, allowing you to adapt the suspension height to your interior.

With its timeless elegance and radiant gilt bronze finish, this lantern is more than just a source of light it is a statement piece that evokes the grandeur and refinement of 18th-century French aristocratic interiors.
