More info

This magnificent Louis XV-style dining table stands out for its exceptionally refined marquetry, entirely handcrafted by skilled artisans.

The tabletop showcases a spectacular central composition: a richly detailed floral urn surrounded by scrolling foliage, swirling tendrils and elegant vegetal curves.

This ornamentation, characteristic of luxurious 18th-century decorative arts, is meticulously inlaid into a harmonious mix of precious woods, combining rosewood with blond mahogany.

The warm tones of these woods create a chevron pattern that enhances the table’s natural elegance.

The solid beech structure ensures outstanding strength and perfect stability, while the curved silhouette typical of the Louis XV style gives the piece a graceful and fluid appearance.

The four cabriole legs are highlighted with finely chiselled gilded bronze mounts.

Visible motifs include acanthus leaves, shells and ornamental scrolls that emphasize every curve with distinction.

The apron is adorned with additional gilt-bronze ornaments, including a central cartouche decorated with fine foliage.

The tabletop is finished with a traditional French-polish (tampon varnish), providing a deep, lustrous shine that enhances both the richness of the woods and the brilliance of the gilded marquetry.

This noble finish contributes to the luxurious presence of the table, designed to become the centrepiece of an elegant dining room or a sophisticated interior.

Comfortably seating up to eight guests, this table beautifully combines artisanal savoir-faire, noble materials and regal aesthetics.

It is a remarkable piece, perfect for enhancing any classical, baroque or prestigious interior décor.
