This superb 3-light Empire style chandelier is a genuine masterpiece of traditional French craftsmanship, entirely made from solid gilded bronze.

Each component is meticulously hand-shaped by skilled artisans, reflecting the heritage of fine decorative arts that have made France renowned worldwide.

The Empire style emerged in the early 19th century during the reign of Napoleon I, drawing inspiration from the grandeur of Ancient Greece and Rome.

It is characterised by strict symmetry, harmonious proportions, and richly detailed motifs such as garlands, laurel leaves, and classical ornaments.

These designs were intended to convey power, stability, and refinement, perfectly suited to imperial palaces and prestigious residences.

In this chandelier, the three arms of light are gracefully connected by sculpted garlands, while each arm is crowned with a finely crafted clear glass tulip shade featuring a stylised floral pattern.
