Sumptuous decorative sculpture, finely made and patinated representing the torso of Hercules in dark color.

Reproduction in the form of a fragment of a statue of Hercules dating from the beginning of the 3rd century AD, the work of which is attributed to the sculptor Glykon the Athenian.
It represents the Greek hero who has just completed the 11th of the 12 labors of Hercules: "picking the golden apples from the garden of the Hesperides", after having killed the dragon guarding them.

This high quality reproduction has a fantastic patina.
The base is black metal.
The extreme elegance and perfection of this sculpture remains an exemplary piece of Greek art of the time!
