More info

This magnificent Louis XV–style chest of drawers stands out with its exceptional marquetry, entirely crafted by hand and covering the top, the structure, the legs and both drawers.

The piece features an elaborate inlay made from several species of precious wood, creating a rich palette of tones and geometric contrasts.

At the center of the composition, both on the top and on the drawer fronts, lies a superb "wind rose" motif, meticulously assembled from contrasting veneers that highlight the elegance and movement typical of French 18th-century decorative work.

The harmonious curves of the bombe-shaped façade and the cabriole legs reflect the hallmark of the Louis XV style.

Each leg is adorned with refined ormolu-mounted sabots, while the sides and front are embellished with additional gilded bronze ornaments featuring scrolls and stylised foliage.

All bronze fittings are hand-chiseled, adding depth and brilliance to the overall silhouette of the furniture.

The two spacious drawers glide smoothly and are fitted with beautifully sculpted ormolu handles, both decorative and functional.

The proportions of the chest make it ideal for a bedroom, a refined living space, or even a luxury hotel suite.

Its combination of traditional craftsmanship, noble materials and striking marquetry make it not only a storage piece, but also an exceptional decorative element capable of elevating any interior.

This chest of drawers is a perfect choice for those who love classic French furniture, the art of marquetry, and richly ornamented historical styles.

Whether used as a main storage piece or as an accent piece in a distinguished setting, it brings authenticity, character and timeless charm to any room.
