Bedside 3 drawers inlaid wood with shelf

This exquisite Louis XV-style bedside cabinet is a remarkable example of traditional marquetry craftsmanship.

Entirely veneered-including the top, legs, structure, and drawer fronts : it features an elegant half-moon silhouette typical of refined 18th-century furniture.

The marquetry is composed of precious wood species arranged in intricate floral scrolls, showcasing delicate foliage motifs and naturalistic curves.

The warm contrast between the rosewood-toned structure and the lighter inlays brings depth and sophistication to the
piece.

Each decorative motif is meticulously cut and assembled by hand, following the centuries-old techniques used by master cabinetmakers.

This charming cabinet includes three curved drawers, each adorned with finely engraved gilt bronze knobs.

The façades are embellished with floral marquetry that aligns gracefully across all three drawers.

Below, an elegant lower shelf (entablature) also features inlaid decoration, providing additional storage while enhancing the cabinet’s airy silhouette.

The legs exhibit the typical Louis XV cabriole shape-slender, sinuous, and perfectly balanced.

At their bases and upper joints, gilt bronze ornaments add a luxurious touch: floral motifs, ribbon-like elements, and finely chiseled details brighten the overall aesthetic.

Both decorative and functional, this piece is ideal as a bedside table, an entryway accent, or an elegant small side cabinet in a living room or boudoir.

Its craftsmanship, harmonious proportions, and richly ornamented surface make it a true statement piece capable of elevating any classic or eclectic interior.

A superb example of French decorative tradition, combining utility with timeless elegance.
