More info

This decorative bust depicting Hermes, son of Zeus and messenger of the gods in Greek mythology, immediately captivates with its powerful sculptural presence. Inspired by the great fragments of Classical Antiquity, it celebrates the beauty of the male form through harmonious proportions, strong modelling and the fascinating incompleteness that gives ancient sculpture such timeless character.

Its deep black patina with an aged bronze effect creates remarkable visual depth. Subtle irregularities, traces of wear and deliberately fragmented areas reinforce the impression of an archaeological piece preserved through time. The contrast between its dark finish and the sculpted volumes beautifully highlights the torso, shoulders and musculature, giving the bust an almost museum-like presence.

Mounted on a discreet black metal stand, this large decorative sculpture becomes a genuine statement piece. Displayed on a pedestal, console, sideboard or substantial piece of furniture, it immediately gives an interior a sophisticated and artistic dimension.

It is particularly striking in a collector’s apartment, an elegant living room, a library or a refined office, where it can be combined with art books, paintings, antique objects, contemporary furniture or noble natural materials. In a hotel, restaurant or prestigious reception area, its strong silhouette can also create a spectacular focal point.

More than a simple decorative object, this bust of Hermes evokes the atmosphere of major art collections and museum galleries. It brings history, culture and character into the interior without appearing overly classical.

A timeless sculpture with a strong visual identity, ideal for creating a sophisticated, eclectic interior inspired by museums, galleries and great private art collections.
