Daughter of Zeus, Artemis is the sister of Apollo, goddess of the hunt and the moon.
This statue comes from the casting of an amateur collector from the 17th century, originally found in excavations and here reproduced identically.
This high quality reproduction has a fantastic patina.
The base is black.
The extreme elegance and perfection of this sculpture remains an exemplary piece of Greek art of the time!
