Sculptures made from shell slices, previously used as currencies on the Indonesian islands.
The shells are fished by the inhabitants of the islands, then cut into the shape of a coin before being strung.
These coins were once used as currency and are combined here with coins made from buffalo horn.
Elegantly presented here on a matte black "museum piece" metal base.
