A refined evocation of Greek statuary, this sculpture of Apollo’s face is adorned with a deep black patina that emphasizes the classical modeling and serene volumes of the god.

Flowing locks, a high forehead, and a harmonious profile catch the light with restraint, while the black metal base elevates the piece, giving it a museum-like presence, perfectly suited to a cabinet of curiosities.

A distinctive detail that makes all the difference for lovers of revisited antiquity: in Antiquity, many statues were fitted
with inserted eyes made of glass paste, stone, or ivory to animate the gaze and reflect light.

These fragile elements have almost always vanished from surviving fragments, leaving the faces with empty stares.

Here, our reproduction faithfully restores these eyes, bringing back a strikingly human presence and unexpected depth to the visage.

The satin black finish enhances the transitions between temples, cheekbones, and the bridge of the nose; it also highlights the reliefs of the hair without excessive shine.
