More info

This large Napoleon III style chest of drawers embodies the rich decorative spirit of the Second Empire.

Its beechwood structure is finished in a deep glossy black lacquer, enhancing a sumptuous Boulle-style marquetry decor featuring gilded arabesques set against a warm red background.

All three visible sides are richly adorned with finely chiselled gilt bronze mounts.

The handles, corner mounts and feet display floral motifs, elegant scrolls and stylized shells, adding depth and refinement to the overall composition.

The gently curved façade and characteristic Napoleon III lines give the piece a theatrical yet balanced silhouette.

The top is made of black marble delicately veined in white. Its natural veining subtly contrasts with the glossy lacquer and the brilliance of the gilded details, creating a sophisticated interplay of materials.

Equipped with two large, spacious drawers, this chest combines decorative impact with everyday functionality.

It will naturally enhance an elegant bedroom, refined entryway or classic living room, while also serving as a striking focal point in a contemporary interior seeking dramatic contrast.

More than a storage piece, this chest of drawers is a statement element designed to structure a space and express strong decorative character.
