This elegant square Napoleon III style side table perfectly reflects the decorative refinement of the Second Empire.

Its solid beechwood structure is finished in a deep glossy black lacquer, enhancing a sumptuous Boulle-style marquetry decor featuring red, black and gold arabesques.

The top displays a highly detailed symmetrical central motif, framed by the intense black lacquer that highlights the richness of the contrasts.

The apron and cabriole legs echo this refined decoration, accentuated by finely chiselled gilt bronze mounts positioned at the corners, along the legs and at the feet.

The gilt bronze elements, adorned with vegetal motifs and stylized scrolls, add depth and brilliance while visually structuring the slender silhouette of the piece.
